Just wanted to invite all of you with one of those flat spinning things on the front of your sailplanes to a great contest and venue in South Jersey. We'll have a two day contest of ALES competition at the Atlantic County Skyblazers field in Mays Landing. The place is awesome in size. Google "Strawberry Fields Airport, Mays Landing, NJ" It's the NJ Forrest Service emergency landing field - grass strip that is used by the Skyblazers for their club field. Dimensions of the field are 1000' by 3500' Atlantic City and the Casinos are 18 miles from the field so if you spend enough there on Friday night you might get comp'd (sic). There will be two classes: Our class - yeah that's all of the ESL pilots who fly electric sailplanes and the "Other" class which includes newbee's and old timers. We invited the old timers because the Skyblazers are very active in the SAM events, so if you have a Playboy or Lanzo Bomber you can bring it also. Actually if you have a trainer 40, P51, MIG 17 you can enter it in the "Other" class. It aught to be a blast. If you have a camper you can stay at the field. I tried to attach a Flyer but couldn't figure out how.
