I’m attaching a couple of photos of the control setup I’m using with the Luchenbach fuselage, which I think may be a little easier to set up than the standard. Rather than run the pushrods inside the boom with the V-tail mounted in a saddle on top, I opted to set the tail into slots cut in the boom and run the pushrods externally on top of the boom. Phil noted that slotting the pylon to let the pushrods have a completely straight run entails considerable rework, so I just made a small hole at the rear of the pylon, and let the rods cross over each other. Thus the servo on the left of the plane controls the right ruddervator, and vice versa. This gives a reasonably straight run and no noticeable binding of the controls. (Maybe someday I'll glue the sheaths on and get rid of the ugly tape ...)
